Why create a website when we have My Family and Facebook?

My Family is no longer functional. Facebook is great as a social networking tool but not everyone is on FB. We wanted one location, easily accessible, and devoted specifically to information regarding the class of 1966.

Why should I update my profile?

Updating your profile provides us with your current address and email. We do not publish phone numbers, street addresses, or emails on the site nor do we share it with anyone. It is specifically used to contact you regarding upcoming events such as the 50th reunion. It is interesting to see where our classmates are now and what they are doing. As we age, we are interested in sharing details of our lives so we have included a hobbies and short bio area. Information on marital status, military, how many kids, grandkids, pets, and occupation will be used to generate statistics on our class to share at our reunion. Your name, yearbook photo, and any current information we have has been entered for you as a starting point.

How do I update my profile?

These are password protected so only you and the site administrator can edit your profile.

Click on the "Edit Your Profile" button to access your profile.   You will be asked for a user name and password.  If you do not have a user name or password or have forgotten it, click on "Forgot user name or password, enter your email address and the login information will be sent to your email address.

Where are they now?

On the “Classmates” page, click on the button titled “Where are they now?” This shows a map of where our classmates are located. It is interesting to see what part of the country most of us live in and also to see who may live near us!

How do I leave a tribute?

You do not need a login to leave a tribute. Go to the “In Memoriam” page. Scroll down to the classmate you would like to memorialize. Click on “Add A Tribute”. Enter your name, type a short note, and click the “Submit” button. The tribute does not automatically appear. A “Read Tribute” button will appear and you can read tributes left for that person.

How do I sign the guestbook?

You do not need a log in to sign the guestbook. Go to the “Guestbook” page. Click on “Please sign our guestbook”. Enter your name, email and message. Your email address is not a required field. By entering your email address, you allow others to send you a message from this screen. Be sure to enter the security code at the bottom and click on submit.

Do I need to Register for the Message Board?

Yes, you must register to use the message board. Please enter your email address, user name, and password and click on “Sign me up”. Your login credentials will be emailed to you. We have established main categories for your convenience and you can create a topic and post under any of them once your login has been processed.
